BikeCommutography RIDES OFF!

Today kicks off the BikeCommutography blog inspired by +Aixe Djelal and her BicycleHead web site that features her #helmetography. I hope to capture memorable moments as I try to @BikeEveryDay. Enjoy.

BACK TO THE TRAIL

Approaching the Capitol Crescent Trail (CCT) from Elm St. Park. Entrance under the Air Rights Building in Bethesda, MD.

BIKE TO THE LIGHT

Entering the tunnel under McArthur Blvd. near Dalecarlia Reservoir.

BRIDGE OVER C&O CANAL

Crossing the C&O Canal above Arizona Ave. and Canal Road.

PASSING ON YOUR LEFT

The last of the eight bicyclists that I passed on the CCT this morning.

UNDER THE WHITEHURST
Rolling off the CCT and into Georgetown.

SQUEEZING BY

Approaching Washington Circle via K Street.
GLOWING PEDESTRIAN

East of Washington Circle on Pennsylvania Avenue.
WAITING

Lots of pedestrians waiting for the White House tours, chatting police vehicles, and patient bicyclists.
THE MOTHER SHIP

That column to the right contains a secret EPA bicycle parking room. Country Road Bob's resting place.
P.S. Today's conditions - dry roads, 17F/-8c at 6:40am. Ride route here.

  1. These are super cool shots! I like the perspective the fender of your bike offers.
